News story image

Due to essential repair works, the escalators and lift at Connolly Luas Stop on the Red Line will be out of service until further notice.

The escalators were due to be back in service in late May. However, due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the work to repair them has been delayed.

Due to a fault with the lift at Connolly Luas Stop it is now also out of service until further notice to allow for essential repair works to take place. These repair works are also unfortunately being delayed due to COVID-19.

While the lift and escalators at Connolly Luas Stop are out of service, please use the stairs to get to / from Connolly Train Station if you are able. There are stairs beside the lift and beside the escalators.

Alternatively, there are a lift and escalators inside Connolly Train Station that can be used. If you can, please use the escalators and leave the lift free for people with disabilities, those travelling with luggage or buggies, or people who are pregnant.

Please see the map below for the route to the lift in Connolly Train Station.

Thank you for your patience during these works and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
