These are unusual times with COVID-19 impacting on Luas and all other transport operators. Transdev and Transport Infrastructure Ireland thank the many teams of people who are coming to work to assist all frontline and essential workers in getting where they need to go. You are playing your part to help flatten the curve.

The health and safety of customers and employees is paramount and we are following all public health instructions that are issued by the HSE.

Luas trams and infrastructure are cleaned in accordance with the guidelines we are receiving from the experts in this area and the HSE. We are cleaning platforms and trams in line with advice received by the health authorities, and we are focussing on areas like door buttons, grab handles, ticket machines etc. – those items and area with which customers and staff come into most regular contact.

It is important for passengers to follow the advice of the HSE around social distancing, personal hygiene, and adhering to cough and sneeze etiquette.

We ask that you consider if your journey is necessary. This helps to limit social interaction as our health authority experts have recommended, and facilitates greater social distancing on board. Additionally, where possible, reduce cash handling and use a Leap Card to pay for your journey.

We ask that everyone follows the latest HSE advice at all times.

Let’s all play our part to flatten the curve and help the thousands of front line heroes who need to use public transport.

All updates will be posted to Luas Travel Updates and on our Twitter and Facebook pages. Customers can also call our customer service line on 1850 300 604, lines open from 07:00 - 19:00hrs Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 18:00hrs Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
