Luas and its Operator and Maintainer, Transdev, are proud to support St. Patrick’s Athletic Football Club in delivering the Saints and Scholars football numeracy programme.
Designed for 2nd–6th class students, the programme began in September 2024 and continues throughout the school year.
This initiative takes place in several schools located near both Richmond Park—home of St. Patrick’s FC—and the Luas Red Line.

As part of this partnership, Luas is working with St. Patrick’s Athletic FC to select a Student of the Month for each month the programme runs. The selected student receives a sports voucher, provided by Luas.
Alan Brady, Community Officer with St. Patrick’s Athletic FC, shared his thoughts on the partnership:
“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Luas on our Saints and Scholars school’s programme. The Luas is synonymous with the areas we engage with and provide a vital service across the city. The team at Luas have been a joy to work with and we look forward to continuing and growing our strong relationship.”
