Luas is a proud supporter of Transport for Ireland’s ‘Please Offer Me a Seat’ Badge and Card. TFI has partnered with Invisible Disability Ireland to launch the 'Please Offer Me a Seat' Badge and Card for people with invisible disabilities to use when accessing public transport.

About 80% of all disabilities are invisible and can hinder a person’s efforts to go to school, work, socialise, and more. These make up a large percentage of the disability population but have little representation, awareness, understanding or support. The “Please Offer Me a Seat” Badge and Card ensures that people with hidden disabilities have a seat in priority areas on public transport.

For passengers with hidden disabilities, TFI’s “Please Offer Me a Seat” Badge and Card does the talking.

Luas customers can collect their free badge or card from the Red Cow Luas Depot on the Red Line, or Sandyford or Broombridge Luas Depots on the Green Line. There are other transport operator collection points nationwide – see the list here.

Did you know there are already designated seats on Luas for those who are pregnant or who have mobility impairments? These seats are close to the doors and are identifiable by stickers on the windows of the trams so make sure you look out for them when travelling on Luas.
