Essential Luas Red Line Engineering Works

Essential engineering works are being carried out on the Luas Red Line on Fri 17th, Sat 18th, Sun 19th, and Mon 20th Sep. To facilitate these works, Luas Red Line services will finish approx. one hour earlier than normal Operating Hours on Fri 17th Sep, start an hour later and finish an hour earlier on Sat 18th, start an hour later on Sun 19th Sep, and start an hour later on Mon 20th Sep.

Please see below the first and last tram times for Luas Red Line services during these works.


Fri 17th Sep:

  • Tallaght Eastbound 05:30 – 23:00
  • Saggart Eastbound 05:42 – 22:53
  • The Point Westbound 05:30 – 23:30
  • Connolly Westbound 07:10 – 19:31 (no change)

Sat 18th Sep:

  • Tallaght Eastbound 06:50 – 23:00
  • Saggart Eastbound 07:02 – 22:52
  • The Point Westbound 07:30 – 23:30
  • Connolly Westbound 09:14 – 18:39 (no change)

Sun 19th Sep:

  • Tallaght Eastbound 07:20 – 23:00
  • Saggart Eastbound 07:31 – 22:51
  • The Point Westbound 08:00 – 23:30
  • Connolly Westbound 15:12 – 19:03 (no change)

Mon 20th Sep:

  • Tallaght Eastbound 06:10 – 00:00
  • Saggart Eastbound 06:16 – 23:52
  • The Point Westbound 06:30 – 00:30
  • Connolly Westbound 07:10 – 19:31 (no change)

The Luas Green Line is not affected by these works on the Red Line. However,
due to essential engineering works, there are no Southbound trams running from Phibsborough Luas Stop Mon 6th Sep – Fri 24th Sep. Click here for more info.

The Luas Red Line will run as normal from Tue 21st Sep onwards.

Passenger capacity on Luas and other public transport is now 100%. Wearing a face covering is required by law on public transport. Luas staff can refuse travel if you are not wearing a face covering (unless you are exempt from doing so).
