Respect Luas Staff
Luas staff are here to transport you, assist you and help keep you safe. If you are having a bad day, there is no need to insult Luas Revenue Protection Officers, Security staff or drivers! Racial, verbal and physical abuse are not acceptable at any time. While the majority of Luas commuters and the general public appreciate and respect staff, some customers and members of the general public behave don’t. Everyone should be able to come to work without being abused. For this reason, Luas reminds everyone using Luas services to show respect to our staff in the following ways:
All Luas staff – ticket inspectors, security, drivers, and customer care staff – should be able to do their jobs free of abuse and aggression. It is our policy to treat all customers and members of the public with respect and courtesy and we would expect the same respect and courtesy in return. Any aggressive or inappropriate behaviour towards staff will not be tolerated and will be dealt with through the appropriate channels. It is up to everyone to keep Luas safe, pleasant and enjoyable for all. Luas reminds all customers to show a little respect to Luas staff you may encounter on your journey – you never know when you might need their help.
